Skulpt Aim

The Skulpt Aim is a fitness tracker designed for exercise enthusiasts, bodybuilders, and personal trainers who want to track muscle growth and fat loss over time.

Overview

The Skulpt Aim is a personal fitness tracker designed for people who are very serious about fitness. It pairs a handheld scanner with the Skulpt app to measure body fat and muscle quality in specific areas of your body. The Aim tracks your progress over time to help you target your workouts, build muscle, and improve your fitness.

If you are looking for a device that will count steps, monitor your activity level, and help you make gradual changes to improve your health, the Skulpt Aim is not the fitness device for you. It is a better fit for people who are serious about exercise and committed to a workout regimen.

Design

The Skulpt system is sleek and compact. The scanner is a small device about the size of a deck of cards, and comes with a matching charging dock. The front of the scanner is an LCD screen, while the back is set with thin metal sensors.

When it’s in use, the sides of the scanner light up with different colors to let you know it is working. A flashing white light lets you know the scanner is processing, a solid blue light tells you it has taken a reading, and a red light means you need to do the reading again.

The LCD screen is relatively small, and the resolution is grainy. It is not a touch screen; instead, you navigate using the two buttons on the side of the device.

The scanner is lightweight, which makes it easy to carry and store. It is also unfortunately fragile, and the sides pop open easily. You can fit the pieces back together, but this design flaw will likely weaken your device over time and require you to replace the scanner sooner than more durable fitness devices.
